Medieval tournament to celebrate the Battle of Agincourt
There will be a thrilling tournament of fully-armoured knights in battle, precision archery displays, graceful dances and accomplished musicians. Monmouthshire Antiquarian Association, Gwent Archives and Gwent County History are hosting a study day at Gwent Archives based around the commemoration of Agincourt. Professor Anne Curry, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Professor of Medieval History at Southampton University will provide the lecture. Details of other speakers will be announced shortly.
