Henry V (1944) film screening Monmouth

The Henry V film (1944) featuring Laurence Olivier will be screened on 19 September. This Gala Screening will raise funds for the High Sheriff of Gwent’s Community Fund. Olivier’s adaptation is considered one of the finest Shakespeare films ever made. It is full of rousing action, beautiful colours and passionate performances. The touring Agincourt exhibition can be visited at the Sheep Festival in Llandovery. The Festival activities can be enjoyed across the town centre. They include sheep related demo, races also market stalls and street entertainment Sunday evening entertainment at Llandingat Church @ 7pm hosted by Shan Cothi and featuring harpists Catrin Finch and hannah Stone, Aled Hath, Charlie Lovell Jones and the Ysgol Rhys Pritchard School Choir.
